-
We will serve 3 meals per day in the cafeteria. These meals will be skillfully prepared with special attention given to each tasty meal to ensure nutritional needs are met and are appealing to today’s Ukrainian youth.
Campers will also have access to snacks and beverages throughout the day.
-
Dorm rooms are equipped with newly purchased beds, mattresses and pillows. Each dorm room will house 4 campers and each camper will have their own bed.
In addition to the 10 public (or community) toilets located throughout the facility, private bathrooms are located between each dorm room and will be shared by 2 rooms of campers. So, there will be 1 private bathroom per every 8 campers.
-
If a camper needs medical attention, they will be assessed in our on-site medical clinic that meets the EU standards and regulations. We have a U.S. trained nurse on site 24 hours a day and a Bulgarian medical practitioner who visits daily.
Should a camper require more care than can be given in our clinic, the camper will be taken to the nearby city of Montana where there is a large hospital.
-
Camp Refuge has 24 hour a day security guards in place, along with monitored security cameras.
Boys and girls will be housed on two different levels and will not be allowed to enter the hall of the opposite sex.
Adults will be strategically placed in rooms between the campers, so that if their assistance is needed during the night they will be easily accessible.
All adults working at Camp Refuge will have current background checks on file.
